Pier 30 is everything I could ask for in a dive bar on a vacation. It was so good we actually ate their twice on a week's trip. It is very much a dive bar, where the regulars and locals go for coffee in the morning and a beer at night. The shrimp po boy was amazing and the 2 pound crawfish boil was 'epic' in a real sense, not an overused internet buzzword. Surprisingly the food was much, much better than expected. Get the Cajun Butter on the side with the crawfish boil The service was great, and the owner will be in every night chomping on a cigar making sure customers are happy. Pier 30 was an amazing experience, and a must for a visit to the other side of the toll bridge..

Loved the service from Carolina! She was excellent! Boiled shrimp were amazing. Love that you can get them spiced the way you want. Mine were extra spicy. Can't wait to go back for more! Place is really, really low-key. Not fine dining, but great food. Very casual. I love it!
It was an amazing experience. The server was so nice. She was patient, sweet, and made sure we never had to ask for refills. The food was fresh and delicious. And they have awesome appetizers. They were very nice to my 6 year old granddaughter and our little Yorkie.
Wow! This place is awesome!! It’s the week of my birthday and my boyfriend and I were searching for a reasonably priced joint with a wide variety of seafood and this bar&grill did not fail us!! We enjoyed 2 lbs of crawfish in garlic butter along with the fried mushrooms and 6 fried oysters with sweet potato fries. We did happen to arrive a little late into the evening (9:00 pm) when they were planning to close at 10:00 pm but they never rushed us and we were warmly welcomed and provided spectacular service the entire time!
Fun lil place to go get fresh oysters and shrimp tacos. Our Server was great! Bar was fixed up like a tiki hut with a good selection. . . and they also offer some speciality coffee drinks using their own private label coffee that you can buy bags of.
Amazing food, service and friendly people. Went there twice on my 3-night trip! Seafood was awesome and fresh. Highly recommend the oysters and you-peel-em boiled shrimp with dirty rice!
We had the shrimp tacos and they were delicious! 3 for 9.99! Crab poppers were good as well. Service was excellent. Atmosphere is very casual and we will definitely be back.
